Abstract

This article aims to study an archaeological element that was widely spread in the era of the New Kingdom with little appearance before the New Kingdom, and this element is close in its form to the traditional imaginary door, but it differs in terms of architectural and artistic details, and there is no specific name for this element, so this research aims to Naming this element and describing it accurately, as well as rooting the appearance of this element through studying some scenes and texts in temples and tombs that date back to a period prior to the era of the New Kingdom, in addition to dealing with the naming of the element in ancient Egyptian texts, scientific references, and leading to the naming proposed by the researcher.
